Amgen to launch Chinese R&D center with university

Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN) signed a memorandum of understanding with ShanghaiTech University (Shanghai, China) to establish an R&D center at the university. Amgen will co-locate its R&D center with two life science institutes -- the Shanghai Institute for Advanced Immunochemical Studies (SIAIS) and the iHuman Institute -- at ShanghaiTech.
