Teva names CEOs for Asian units

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE:TEVA) said Ichiro Kikushige will become CEO of Teva Seiyaku, Japan, effective May 15. Kikushige, who is senior director of sales for the Eli Lilly Japan K.K. affiliate of Eli Lilly and Co. (NYSE:LLY), will succeed President and CEO Makoto Shimada, who is retiring.

Separately, Teva hired Yoo Suk Hong as the first CEO of Teva-Handok, a business venture between Teva and Handok Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. (KSE:002390) to market Teva's drugs including branded generics in South Korea. Hong was marketing strategy director of emerging markets at Eli Lilly. Teva-Handok expects to launch its first product in September. ...
