Agios, cancer institute settle suit

Agios Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.) and the Leonard and Madlyn Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute settled a lawsuit over the ownership of IP that forms the basis of Agios. The settlement terms are confidential. The University of Pennsylvania institute had claimed Craig Thompson co-founded Agios in 2007 partly with IP discovered during his work at the institute.
