FDA approves Afinitor for breast cancer

FDA approved Afinitor everolimus from Novartis AG (NYSE:NVS; SIX:NOVN) in combination with Aromasin exemestane to treat postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer that has progressed after treatment with Arimidex anastrozole or the pharma's Femara letrozole.
