GlobeImmune reports GI-4000 subgroup data
GlobeImmune Inc. (Louisville, Colo.) reported data from a subgroup of 39 patients with Ras-mutated pancreatic cancer with microscopic residual disease following surgery in the Phase IIb GI-4000-02 trial to treat pancreatic cancer. Specifically, GI-4000 plus gemcitabine non-significantly improved median recurrence-free survival (RFS), the primary endpoint, vs. placebo plus gemcitabine (9.6 vs. 8.5 months). Additionally, GI-4000 non-significantly improved median overall survival (OS) vs. gemcitabine alone (17.2 vs. 14.6 months). One-year OS rates were 72% for GI-4000 plus gemcitabine vs. 56% for placebo plus gemcitabine. The double-blind, international trial enrolled 176 patients with Ras-mutated resected pancreatic cancer. Data were presented at the World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer meeting in Barcelona. ...
