REGN727 meets Phase II endpoint in hypercholesterolemia

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:REGN) and partner Sanofi (Euronext:SAN; NYSE:SNY) said all five doses of subcutaneous REGN727/ SAR236553 plus atorvastatin met the primary endpoint of reducing LDL-C from baseline to week 12 vs. atorvastatin alone in a Phase II trial to treat primary hypercholesterolemia (40-72% vs. 5%, p<0.0001 for all).
