Price cuts in HCV

If you've heard or read anything about HCV, you'll know the costs of covering the large population are very high - and will get worse.

That's certainly the subtext in announcements from Express Scripts Holding Co. and CVS Health: both press releases implied that HCV therapy is, and will be, even more expensive than their customers think. Of course, that's the right message to send if you're a PBM: more reason for plans and plan sponsors to use a PBM's services...
