Incyte: Content with content

Although Incyte Genomics Inc. believes the broad applicability of its Genomics Knowledge Platform could provide good revenue potential in other market segments, the company has decided it is better to maintain its focus on content, rather than applications. Thus INCY last week licensed the platform to Secant Technologies Inc., which provided the original software to develop GKP.

GKP is a bioinformatics suite that allows the integration of multiple data sets, including gene sequence and expression, functional genomics and proteomics information.
