Perkin-Elmer's value capturing strategy

The Perkin-Elmer Corp. is moving beyond its traditional business of supplying analytical instruments, compiling an integrated set of products and services to provide genomics-based drug discovery capabilities directly to pharmaceutical companies through its PE Applied Biosystems Division.
