Metra's giveaway marketing

Most diagnostics don't lend themselves to broad marketing programs. But as increasingly sophisticated biology leads to novel diagnostics, more companies will need to educate their marketplace about the new tests.

Metra Biosystems Inc. has launched such a program, called Baseline, offering physicians the ability to test patients with the Pyrilinks-D urinary assay at no cost through June 15.
