CellPro's complete victory

CellPro Inc. announced late Friday that it has won its three-year patent battle with Baxter Healthcare Corp., Becton Dickinson and Co. and The Johns Hopkins University, after a jury found that CPRO's Ceprate SC Stem Cell Separation System and its Ceprate LC Laboratory Cell Separation System don't infringe four patents sublicensed to Baxter.

CPRO won a complete victory, as the seven-member jury deliberated for less than seven hours before finding that the Bothell, Wash., company didn't infringe any of the claims in any of the patents and that all of the claims in the patents were invalid. ...
