Accounting for input

More than many HTA bodies, NICE has a reputation for seeking patient input throughout the process of conducting a health technology appraisal. But patient groups say it isn't clear whether or how this input affects decisions, and they want to have more say about what drugs get recommended for coverage on the NHS.
