WASHINGTON - A recently released report on NIH's Intramural Research Program calls for streamlining the institutes' technology transfer procedures and questions the utility of the "reasonable pricing" clause in CRADAs.

The NIH commissioned the report in response to a congressional call for a comprehensive review of NIH's intramural research program. The report concludes that funds for intramural research should be capped at 11.3 percent of the NIH budget.
