While there is broad agreement about the need to improve the
design and conduct of clinical trials, 10 pharmaceutical companies are trying
to do something about it. The resulting collaboration - TransCelerate
BioPharma Inc. - is tackling five areas of clinical trials that
actually are tractable in the short term.
The not-for-profit isn't
disclosing many metrics, including funding, but does expect to meet important
milestones on the projects within a year.
