End omnibus

Congress has scuttled home until Sept. 12, leaving sweeping health care reform in doubt and disarray while the pundits turn to the prospect of insurance reform as the best President Clinton can hope to accomplish this year.

However, the last nail has not yet been pounded into the coffin of the big government invasion of health care, and won't be until Washington abandons its insatiable appetite to create omnibus solutions to intractable and probably unsolvable problems. ...
