Don't get mad, get busy
Checking your blood pressure, we're told, is a prudent thing to do in an on-going program of preventative health maintenance. But as the nation's lawmakers clamor for controls on drug prices, we assume everyone in the biotech sector has thrown away the blood pressure cuff as a lost cause.
However, the industry needs to resist the urge to go ballistic as each new naive, incomplete or politically self-serving piece of legislation emerges and begin to focus on what it needs out of the process.
