Sebastian Meier-Ewert and Mirko Scherer joined MPM Capitalas managing directors. They will be based in Munich and are expected to increase the firm's focus on European investments. They were partners at KI Kapital and co-founded cancer play GPC Biotech AG, which merged with Agennix Inc. in 2009 to form Agennix AG (Xetra:AGX). MPM has more than $2.5 billion in committed capital.
