Europe provided a flurry of IPO activity . including an eyebrow raising turnabout and a deal headed for the U.S. to go along with a couple of over-subscribed closings.

Investors were taken by surprise when Swedish company Personal Chemistry. s postponed its oversubscribed IPO on Stockholm. s OM Exchange after the book building stage. The microwave-assisted chemical synthesis company had proposed to raise SEK350-SEK520 million ($40.6. $60.3 million). But bankers UBS Warburg and Aros Securities advised the company to wait until further due diligence was completed on a potential overlap between one of the company. s patents and a separate U.S. patent. The company hopes to resolve the issue within the next month...
