Skip's inclinations

Skip Klein, who recently departed T. Rowe Price after nine years as a fund manager, has founded an advisory firm called Millennium HEW. But after nine years as a fund manager, Klein is still busy looking at other career options.

If he elects to manage money, don't expect to see Klein making biotech investments in the near future. "I have a hard time making a case to invest in biotech over the next 12-15 months," he said. "In today's market we're really moving toward a 'Nifty-Fifty' environment where the money's getting channeled into fewer and fewer names. There's much more money flowing into big cap names and when it ends ugly, guess what is going to get hit hard? Companies like biotech that have weak financial underpinnings."...
