Musical Chairs On Wall Street Keeping one's Rolodex up to date has been tough lately, as analysts have played musical chairs among Wall Street firms. Most prominent among the recent moves is Jeff Casdin's departure from Oppenheimer & Co., where he worked since December 1988, to join Merrill Lynch. The move is to be official today.

"There are new vistas at Merrill Lynch that really weren't available at Oppenheimer," Casdin said. "It's a global company, so it gets us into more than one-half, maybe closer to two-thirds, of the drug businesses in Europe and the Far East. We're clearly moving into a period of consolidation and combination and the need for intelligent financing, and Merrill Lynch has the capacity to be involved in all of those."...
