In the face of increasing reluctance by authorities to enforce
the European Union's own laws governing genetically modified crops, industrialists
are concerned that the European Commission's plan to amend its 90/220 directive,
which regulates experimental and commercial GMO releases into the environment,
is going to make matters worse.
