Number of Products
Number of Products refers to the number of compounds and/or products within the
same Asset Type either at the time of deal signing or within the planned Drug Development
Scope. This field may be helpful in rationalizing financial terms where, for example,
disclosed upfront payments and milestone totals may be based on multiple products.
Number of Products refers only to those products within the Asset Type. In merger
and acquisition deals, Number of Products describes the overall number of compounds
or products at the acquired company (see also Asset Type and Number of Asset Types).
