Financings Alerts
Define a financing peer group, then receive an email whenever a company in your peer group completes a new financing.

To define your peer group, start with all companies, a subset of companies from the drop-down menu, or a single company. You then have the option to add custom filter criteria. Next, you must create a financing report to lock in your selections. Finally, name and submit your alert to receive an email when a company that meets your custom criteria completes a new financing.
  • 1Create a Single Company Financings Alert
    • To create an alert for a single company, click on Company Name and enter the name in the text box. You can alternatively enter the the stock ticker symbol or company name abbreviation instead. If you wish to refine your results to include only certain types of financings, amounts raised or time periods, select custom filter criteria below. Click Display Table to lock in your criteria.     • The button will display on the next page, along with a table that contains all the company's financings, or a message indicating that no current records meet your criteria.
    • Click . In the pop-up window that appears, enter a name for the alert, then click Submit.
    • Tip: The criteria set you have created will be saved for future use in the drop-down box below Financings Default Criteria.
  • 2Create a Multiple Company Financings Alert
    • To create an alert for multiple companies, select All Companies or choose a subset using a list from the drop-down menu. If you wish to refine your results to include only certain kinds of companies within that list or only certain types of financings, select custom filter criteria below. Click Display Table to lock in your criteria. Create Financings Report
    • The button will display on the next page, along with a table that contains all the company's financings, or a message indicating that no current records meet your criteria
    • Click . In the pop-up window that appears, enter a name for the alert, then click Submit.
    • Tip: The criteria set you have created will be saved for future use in the drop-down box below Financings Default Criteria.
Example: I want to be notified of new series A rounds for U.S. companies working in autoimmune or cancer.

Instructions: Open the Financial Analyst and select the Financings tab. Make sure All Companies is selected as your starting company list. Next, select the following filters:

All Companies
Expand Summary Region
  • U.S.
Expand Summary Business Category
  • Autoimmune
  • Cancer
Expand Summary Financing Type
  • Series A rounds

Click Display Table to lock in your selections and see the current peer group.

Next, click at the top of resulting table, name the alert and clickSubmit.

Results: When a company working in autoimmune or cancer raises a series A round, you will receive an email with a link to your financings peer group on BCIQ. Hint: click on individual company names to see the company profile, including links to recent stories and news items.
